Indicator’s Purpose

This indicator measures the number of households using improved post-harvest storage technologies, including hermetic storage and other technologies that enhance the performance of existing storage systems.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

Method: Beneficiary-based survey or routine monitoring

Source: Questionnaire, monitoring checklist/form

Who Collects: Implementing partner staff or enumerators

From Whom: beneficiary households

Frequency of Collection: Data will be collected on an ongoing basis and endline.

Frequency of Reporting: Data will be reported in the semi-annual, annual, and final performance reports.

Baseline Value Information: Baseline values will be zero.

Unit of Measure: Number of households

Calculation: This is a count of households using improved post-harvest storage technologies attributable to BHA funding under the reporting period.

How to Count Life of Award (LOA): LOA values are the reported values at the end of the award, counting only the unique number of households, without double-counting, that used improved post-harvest storage practices. Or LOA values will be generated from the endline survey.
